Sidarta And Sandjaja was formally established by architects Patisandhika Sidarta and Tommy Sandjaja in 2018, having successfully completed several design collaborations as separate entities. Previously the pair gained a combined 18 years of practice at andramatin, one of Indonesia’s most prominent architecture firms, working extensively at many of its key projects.
The firm adopts a multi-disciplinary approach into architecture design, with a specific focus on hospitality and residential architecture and design. With an ambitious goal of becoming a significant regional player, the firm possesses a comprehensive understanding of economic feasibility in their projects, thoughtfully balancing financial implications and the resulting architectural aesthetics. It also places great importance on practicality and design sensibility in each of its projects, learning from past experiences the basic principle of user-first in every project.
